Fretboard Tung Oil Finish

If you don't care for our standard clear coat epoxy based finish, we are pleased to offer the option of a hand rubbed tung oil finish at a cost which barely covers our additional time. For maximum absorption and effectiveness our tung oil finish is applied and rubbed out 4 times, all  by hand, leaving  a full day of drying time between each coat. The photo shows a tung oil finish compared to raw wood on a naturally aged piece of Eastern Canadian Maple.
